By accessing or using GoalHero ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

GoalHero is a platform that connects amateur football teams with goalkeepers. Teams can post games and receive bids from qualified goalkeepers. The Service facilitates these connections but does not directly provide goalkeeping services.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Updating your information as necessary

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

4. User Conduct

Users must not:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Engage in discriminatory behavior based on race, gender, religion, or other protected characteristics
• Use the platform for illegal activities
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Attempt to circumvent our payment systems
• Create fake profiles or impersonate others
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service

5. Payments and Fees

Teams pay goalkeepers directly through our secure payment system. GoalHero charges a service fee on completed transactions. Payment terms include:

• Payment is held in escrow until the game is completed
• Refunds are available in cases of no-shows by goalkeepers
• Disputes must be reported within 24 hours of the scheduled game
• Service fees are non-refundable except in cases of platform error

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of content they post but grant GoalHero a license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Service. GoalHero reserves all rights to its platform, technology, and branding.

7. Safety and Liability

Important: Football involves inherent risks. By using our Service:

• You acknowledge and assume all risks associated with participating in football activities
• GoalHero is not responsible for injuries, damages, or losses during games
• Users are encouraged to verify insurance coverage and venue safety
• Players participate at their own risk

8. Identity Verification

GoalHero may require identity verification for certain users, particularly goalkeepers. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that fail verification processes or provide false information.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination:

• Your access to the Service will cease
• Outstanding payments will be processed according to our payment terms
• Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• The availability or reliability of goalkeepers
• The quality of goalkeeping services
• Uninterrupted access to the platform
• Error-free operation

11. Limitation of Liability

GoalHero's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

12. Dispute Resolution

Disputes between users should first be resolved through our in-app reporting system. Legal disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Spanish courts, as GoalHero is based in Spain.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
